2013年，由剑桥大学创立的学生保护科学大会（SCCS）将与北京大学主办的北京论坛合作，在北京举办首次学生保护科学大会北京分会 - SCCS-Beijing，其中，山水自然保护中心（以下简称”山水“）和北京大学自然保护与社会发展研究中心（以下简称”北大中心“）合作开设了中学生专场。如果，你怀揣研究自然的梦想，想为自然保护做一次实践，欢迎你来参加中学生专场评选活动，提出自己有关自然保护的研究计划，或者针对一个保护问题的解决方案，你将有机会获得：

活动重要时间/Important Timelines 


a.报名 Submission

9月20日——10月15日 September 20 – October 15

在线填写报名表，提交自己的研究方案。Fill out the online application form and submit your work.

b.评选 Assessment

10月15日——10月25日（暂定）October 15-25 (provisional)

从所有提交参赛者中选出6名获奖选手，并予以公示。（评选标准：对保护的价值（25%）、创造性（25%）、可行性（25%）、经费和资源（25%））Six out of all the candidates will be publicly announced as winners.  Criteria for assessment are usefulness (25%), creativity (25%), feasibility (25%), and requirements for financial support and resources (25%).

c.参会准备时间  Preparation for attendance

10月26日——11月1日  October 26 – November 1

获奖选手在山水自然保护中心及北京大学导师的辅导下，完善项目计划，准备论坛陈述。The winners will improve their projects and prepare for the presentations under the guidance of the advisors.

d.参加学生保护学大会 Attendance

11月1日——11月5日，地点另行通知。
November 1 – 5, with further notice on the location.

因场地有限，我们将从所有提交报名表的学生中，选出部分优秀者，参加SCCS-Beijing论坛。日程另行通知。The limited space of SCCS-Beijing only allows for a number of applicants to attend the event.  They will be chosen based on the quality of their work.  The agenda is subject to further notice.

6名获奖者将在SCCS-Beijing中学生专场展示自己的项目方案，并接受全球顶尖保护科学家的评点和颁奖，。（所有参与大会的学生交通食宿费用需自理）。
The six winners will present their projects in the seminar.  They will receive commentaries as well as awards from the world’s top scientists. (All student participants need to pay for their transportation and accommodation.)
